By R Grant I believe the book was written in 1926, it is BY FAR, one of the finest books on "The Realms of the Afterlife I have EVER read. There are many contemporary books on the afterlife out there--and when I was writing my own, "The Place We Call Home," Ms. Curtiss' book, "Realms of the Living Dead" was an invaluable resource. Anyone who is interested in "where does the soul go after death?" Dr. Curtiss, who was very gifted psychically, was able to attune her consciousness to the so-called "higher realms" and she paints the most amazing portrait of the MANY WORLDS that are out there, that souls go to after physical death. I recommend it to any open-minded reader, who is interested in the paranormal, ghosts, hauntings, etc., and the author goes into great detail how WE on earth can help those who have passed on through prayer, meditation, and NOT go through all the rituals we go through when someone dies. She says when people are in great distress over the death of a loved one, that passed on loved one FEELS all the grief, and they want so desperately for us (those on earth) to know, "We're not dead! We've only shed the mortal body!" An important, brilliant work that should be read by everyone.
