About the Author Jean-Baptiste Poquelin, known by his stage name Molière, (baptised January 15, 1622 – February 17, 1673) was a French playwright and actor who is considered to be one of the greatest masters of comedy in Western literature. The best thing is the theme is just as relevant today as it was four hundred years ago. Even more so With morals today at a real low, where physical attritubes having the highest rank, especially for the fairer sex.
