5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. I really loved them all By Donna P. I have read all of the other "Murder She Wrote" Books. I really loved them all, till I got to this one. I thought the author is getting too "oh hum". Too much of the book was setting the scene. It described everything right down to the curly cues. I thought it was just too flowery and tedious. The outcome was very predictable as well. I guessed it without any hesitation. When I got to the end, It left me feeling "is that all there is". Better Luck next time Donald Bain.
5 of 5 people found the following review helpful. Another treasure from Mr. Bain and Mrs. Fletcher By Beagle Girl Another thoroughly enjoyable story from Donald Bain (and Jessica Fletcher)! Although I miss Cabot Cove, I loved having George Sutherland back, and the setting of the English countryside during the holidays was perfect for solving a mystery. I've already preordered the next in the series (which I believe will once again be in Maine)! If you love Jessica Fletcher, or are just looking for a well written cozy mystery, I highly recommend this book. :-)

This fell into the category of more enjoyable. The influence of Dowton Abbey could not be denied as this is set at an English Earl's estate. The story and the mystery held my interest, although I am getting a bit tired of the semi-relationship Jessica has with the Inspector. These are two adults after all. Can't wait for the next installment.
